Matt Besler, Number 5, Goalkeeper
I love when I'm asked to help out with other departments with the team. It's small, but it gives me a glimpse into the work that other departments do and how they organize events. Yesterday, I was in on a clinic of the season ticket member's kiddos. They played, learned drills from the pros, and ran around on the field at Sporting Park. It was a dream time!
But, the highlight of this blogpost is Matt Besler's debut goalkeeping career. He was paired with the shooting drill and he was put in goal to stop shots. He had some fast and fierce shots coming at him and he handled them with...ease! I think with his energy paired with the kid's energies made for a wild and great time at that station. So take a look at all of the enjoyment! (Also, check out the light as the sun was setting! Golden hour in full effect!)
*Side note: I chose to post the pictures without the kid's faces because I don't know what the rules are about posting photos of stranger's children. So with that: still enjoy!
